Improved
[Improved, Fixed] Smarter CSV phone import
8 days ago by Denny Liang
Improvements
- CSV uploads now recognize a much wider range of phone-column headers, including variants such as "Phone1," "Mobile number," "Telephone," and all-caps formats like "PHONENUMBER."
- The review step now warns you when a column looks like a phone number but isn’t mapped, and when two headers (e.g., "Phone" and "Mobile") collide on the same field, so you can correct issues before launch.
- Re-uploading a corrected CSV automatically fills in missing phone numbers for existing candidates matched by email, sparing you from manual fixes or duplicates.
- If a campaign launch fails the 7-day scheduling or invite-cap checks, the retry lock is cleared immediately, letting you relaunch the same file without a 20-minute wait.
- Post-launch toasts now show the exact number of phone numbers backfilled and surface any row-level errors for full visibility.
Fixes
- Resolved an issue where candidates imported from CSV files with headers like "Phone1" were created without a phone number.
- Fixed a problem that prevented phone numbers from being added when a candidate already existed with only an email address.
- Corrected a bug that hid enrichment errors after launch, leaving users unaware of failed phone updates.
