Candidate custom fields in the script editor

You can now drop any candidate-specific field—such as desired pay rate or branch location—directly into a question while you edit a task. A new “+ Candidate field” picker shows the exact keys found in recent applicants, and Test Call reads the value (or your fallback text) so you hear exactly what candidates will hear. This makes your scripts feel personal without juggling placeholder syntax.

Web-based interviews request the microphone only once and display a recovery screen if access is denied, delivering a smoother experience for candidates (feature flag required)
Call-quality charts now count only true barge-ins, so “interruptions” metrics better reflect when a candidate actually cuts Joy off
Stage-sync for Greenhouse refreshes automatically once enabled, ensuring new ATS stages appear in Classet within minutes

Fixes

Joy no longer reads raw placeholders like “{job.location.city}” or “[object Object]” during calls; the correct text (or your fallback) is spoken instead
Resuming an interrupted interview now picks up where the candidate left off instead of restarting from an earlier task
Large Kombo candidate syncs save progress every 50 records, preventing lost data if the sync is interrupted
Uploading Excel files to an applicant feed now shows an immediate “unsupported file type” message instead of failing silently

Removed

Support for .xlsx and .xls uploads in applicant feeds has been removed; please export your data as CSV before uploading
